We've already wrote about the new trend "Social Seating", where people with the same interests, based on their social media profiles, are put together on a flight in order to network and get to know each other by enjoying profitable discussions high above the clouds.

Now a fitting app has been created by Abraham de Kock and Minggus Hully, called MAS, which stands for "Matching Airline Seats", which will make air travel a part of your social networking. The two entrepreneurs from the Netherlands have a great experience in IT knowledge and are really looking forward to launch their product. Under the brand name "High Level Connection" (HLC), this innovative application will be available for Apple iPhones and Android devices.

How will I get my right travel seating partner during the flight?

The app will connect with your social media profile, the two inventors have selected Facebook, Linkedln and Google+, which are obviously the three hugest social network platforms in the Web 2.0. at the moment. The user just has to provide some additional information. Endless matching possibilities are feasible with the MAS app.
 

When will the app be available?

The expected realease will be in Spring 2012, but the exact date isn't yet fixed.
