"Mobile Social Web": The potentials of tablet PC- marketing

Smartphones and tablet PCs are integrated in our daily life nowadays, so therefore the possibilities of marketing have also found a new direction: it’s called the “Mobile Social Web”.

Smartphones are hybrid forms of technical devices, who offer the users a wide range of possible uses, e.g. taking pictures in a very good quality, connecting with the Internet or communicating with friends via apps of social networks. The possibilities are becoming more and more every day and the popularity of smartphones is still growing. The “Mobile Social Web” is offering new ways of sales approach and customer loyalty.

Nevertheless, another new trend has appeared in the last time: Tablet-PCs, like the iPad or Galaxy Tab, are becoming more and more popularnowadays. The advantages of tablet PCs are that they have less weight and are smaller than PCs and notebooks. Plus, they come with practical functionalities.

Companies can use iPads to show their customers presentations. Just because tablet PCs have bigger screens with a better quality, it’s efficient for marketing experts to show products or ad spots via iPads.

For that very reason, a lot of experts are of the opinion that iPads will become the advertising medium of the future. No matter if you work in an office, in commerce or in the service sector, it’s profitable for companies to possess tablet PCs in order to show clients presentations or product catalogues via the iPad or let them click through videos of the company easily.
